PRESIDENT FOR 2011-2012 SEASON - President is Murray Kemp of Gisborne. Murray is a Life Member of SLSNZ and will serve until the conclusion of the 2012 AGM on 16 march at gisborne.

21 CLUB CENTENNIAL PLAQUE - The inaugural presentation of the "21 Club Centennial Plaque" was made at the end of the Presentation Ceremony at the 2011 STATE NZ Surf Life Saving Championships, with the first recipient being Natalie Peat of the Papamoa Club, Bay of Plenty. She has been presented with a Certificate marking this first presentation of the annual trophy. The presentation was made by 2010/11 President Dave East (See picture on "Photo Gallery Page 6")

2012 NEWSLETTER  -  Published on 20 January 2012. Key points to note:

Applications for membership close on 15 February with the Secretary. Entry fee ($5) and annual sub ($5) must accompany the completed form.

AGM at 7:30 pm Friday 16 March 2012 at the Gisborne Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club, Gisborne City Wharf. Pre-purchase tickets $30 from the Secretary. Fellowship from 6:00pm Pay bar operates all evening.

Donations to the club, over $5.00) are now subject to an IRD rebate of 33.3% 

2013 NZ CHAMPS - The venue for the 2013 and 2014 State NZ Championships have been announced by SLSNZ. 2013 at Mt Maunganui and 2014 at Whakatane. Pump onto <www.surflifesaving.org.nz> for updates and confirmations.
